1. FSGS
This type of patients are mostly male adult. About 50% of them have hematuria more or less. About 1/3 them have high blood pressure and kidney function impairment when the disease is onset.
2. Non-IgA type mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis
This types of disease usually occurs among young people. Before onset, upper respiratory tract infections often appear. Some patients do not have obvious symptoms, but most patients have hematuria more or less.
This is the most common glomerulonephritis in the world, and it is considered to be a benign kidney disease, but over 30% of patients go into ESRD within 20 years.
4. Minimal Change Disease
Children are likely to get such a disease. Compared with children, adult has a low morbidity. But after 60 years old, there is still a small spike. This presents a characteristic of “High in Both Sides”.
Most patients about 80%-90% are sensitive to steroids, but they get relapse easily. Adults usually have a worse treatment effect than children, especially the patients over 60 years old. It is common to see them to have uremia. How long on earth does it take is not definite.
5. Membranous Nephropathy
It is also a common glomerulonephritis, which usually occurs among middle-aged and old people. About 20% of adult Nephrotic Syndrome is Membranous Nephropathy, accouting for about 70-80% of primary Membranous Nephropathy. If it can not get remission, some patients will go into kidney failure. As to membranous nephropathy with progressive risk, its treatment has been controversial.
6. Mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis
It occurs more among young people. About 50%-70% of patients have persistent low complement, which is an important characteristic of this disease. It has many complications. And it is common for patients to have high blood pressure, anemia and impaired renal function. And their renal function usually keeps on decreasing.
