Hyperuricemia in IgA Nephropathy

2019-04-13 17:00| Font Size A A A

Hyperuricemia in IgA NephropathyIgA Nephropathy is a primary glomerular disease characterized by IgA or IgA immune complexes deposition in the mesangial region of the glomeruli. It is the most common glomerular disease in the world, especially in Asian countries. Its clinical manifestations are diverse, pathological conditions are complex, and prognosis is different. In the follow, let’s have a look at hyperuricemia in IgA Nephropathy. Now go on reading to learn more information.

Hyperuricemia affects the prognosis of IgA Nephropathy

Hyperuricemia is a disorder of purine metabolism in the body, which causes renal damage by deposition of uric acid in tubulointerstitium. Uric acid level affects the prognosis of kidney disease. A follow-up of 348 cases of IgA nephropathy for more than five years found that the incidence of glomerulosclerosis and tubulointerstitial and vascular injury in patients with IgA nephropathy accompanied by hyperuricemia was significantly higher than that in patients with IgA nephropathy with normal serum uric acid level, and were more prone to GFR decline and end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Compared with IgA nephropathy patients without hyperuricemia, the 24-hour urine protein quantification, hypertension and renal damage were more obvious, especially the renal tubulointerstitial lesions and renal vascular damage. The study also supports that hyperuricemia as an independent risk factor for progression is not affected by baseline eGFR. Hyperuricemia not only increases kidney damage, but also has a close relationship with hypertension and glycolipid metabolism, thus increasing the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

How to improve hyperuricemia in IgA Nephropathy?

Here we put forward a new treatment, which does not only decrease uric acid level, but also improve IgA Nephropathy greatly. It is Toxin-Removing Treatment. This treatment can increase urination, improve bowel movement and make you sweat so as to eliminate waste products like uric acid from the blood. It can also improve blood circulation and increase blood flow into kidneys so that enough essential elements such as oxygen, nutrients and active ingredients of medicine can be transported into nidus to speed up kidney recovery. Moreover, it can restore the balance of anti-inflammatory cytokines and pro-inflammatory cytokines to reduce renal inflammation and control the disease from getting worse.

After about half month’s treatment, high uric acid level, urea, and creatinine level will be reduced. After about one month’s treatment, renal function will get improved, and IgA Nephropathy will be under control.
