Kidney Failure, also called renal insufficiency, is a kind of serious kidney disease which brings endless pain to patients. Only knowing the pathogenic factors of kidney failure can we take preventive measures. Then, what causes kidney failure?

Kidney failure may occur from acute or chronic situation.

In acute renal failure, kidney function lost rapidly. The causes can be divided into three stages.

Prerenal causes:

1. Renal ischemia Trauma burns, and surgery may lead to massive blood loss. Patients with shock are easy to cause renal tubular necrosis. Besides, hemoglobin resale from blood and myoglobin from muscle may give rise to renal tubular damage.

2. Dehydration Vomiting, sweating, and the using of diuretics can lead to dehydration.

3. Abnormal blood flow It may caused by obstruction of the renal artery or vein.( Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy has good curative effect on dilating blood vessels and anti-coagulation)

Renal causes:

1. Sepsis The body's immune system is overwhelmed from infection and causes inflammation and shutdown of the kidneys. (Immunotherapy is a new developed effective treatment which is designed for kidney diseases caused by immune disorder)

2. Toxic to the kidney It is mainly caused by the using of medicine, antibiotics, biotoxin, and the metal toxins. (Blood Pollution Therapy is recommended in this condition)

3. Multiple myeloma Many diseases can cause this inflammation including systemic lupus erythematosus, Wegener's granulomatosis, and Goodpasture syndrome.

Post renal causes:

Obstruction of the bladder or the ureters can cause back pressure because the kidneys continue to produce urine. When the pressure increases high enough, the kidneys are damaged.

1. Prostatic hypertrophy or prostate cancer may block the urethra and prevents the bladder from emptying.

2. Tumors in the abdomen that surround and obstruct the ureters.
